Using optional Model GGS/B-1 Grill and Grate Scraper, you can easily scrape ashes from the grate and firebox into a collection pail (not included).  Then safely dispose of the ashes.  The Scraper has two functions: scrape off the grate bars, then flip it over and scrape ashes out of the firebox.  The Grill and Grate Scraper features a coil spring grip and black enamel paint finish. Designed for Pilot Rock brand grills.
